Make your weekend destination the 12th Annual Route 66 Festival in Edwardsville on Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th. Enjoy quality summer entertainment the whole family.
The Route 66 Festival is organized and hosted by the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce and a group of dedicated volunteers. The Festival recognizes and commemorates Historic Route 66 and all of those who drove it in its heyday. Events and booths are sponsored by Chamber members, local businesses, service organizations and the City of Edwardsville.
Visitors will enjoy various classic car events on Saturday beginning with the 3rd Annual Poker Run, and ending with the ever popular Car Cruise at 6:30 p.m. that passes by City Park and finishes with a classic car show across from the Edwardsville Post Office. Meanwhile, families can expect plenty of food and beverage choices, history displays, local artists and a children’s area, along with many other events and activities!
