Route 66 Festival 10K Run/Walk
Come join us for the 2nd Annual Route 66 Festival 10K hosted by the Metro Milers Running / Walking Club. This event is part of the 12th Annual Route 66 Festival in Downtown Edwardsville, IL. The Route 66 Festival 10K is a fundraiser for the Metro Milers Club.

Mother Road
The 10K course is a mostly flat course with some small hills. The course will start in downtown Edwardsville and travel through Edwardsville’s historic neighborhoods then on to the beautiful MCT Trails. We finish back at the City Park where runners and walkers celebrate at the post-race festival.
The course will be closing on a 16:00 min/mi pace. Any participants still remaining on the course may finish but will be ask to move to the side of the roadway. The finish line will remain open for 2 hours after the start.
Field Size limited to 660 participants:
Early Fee (if postmarked by May 31st): $20
Late Fee (no mail-in entries accepted after June 11th): $25
Race Day: $30
Metro Milers Members subtract $3 from fees.

Packet pickup and registration will be Thursday, June 12th and Friday, June 13th. Race packets and race day registration starts at 6:30am to 7:45am in front of the main stage in Edwardsville City Park.

Unofficial results will be posted near the finish line area following the race. Results will be posted on
race website Sunday, June 15th.

Back by popular demand, ASICS Performance Core shirt to all participants. Race goodie bags, music, door prize raffle, bagels, bananas and beverages at finish line.
Pit Crew
There are 3 water stations at mile markers 2, 4 and 5. Replacement fluid drink is provided at mile 4 and at finish line.
Road Crew Volunteers Wanted
Not planning on running or walking the race. Volunteer your time on race morning. Volunteers will be needed in the following areas: course setup, finish line area, race day registration & packet pickup, water stations and course cleanup. Volunteers will receive a Route 66 T-shirt.
