The Route 66 Festival’s popular Classic Car events will return once again this year on Saturday, June 14th to include the Poker Run, the Car Cruise and the Car Show.

The famous Car Cruise will begin at Lincoln Middle School and travel on Route 66 to the Edwardsville City Park.  The Cruise will launch off at 6:30 p.m. sharp.

The Car Show will once again take place following the Cruise.  Cruisers will travel around City Park and end at Cassens Transport parking lot located on North Kansas Street across from the Edwardsville Post Office.  The lot is free to those with Cruise hang tags or late arrivals with custom cars.

Pre-registration is offered, but not necessary.  However, package deals are available for those that register early!  You can download the form here.

On event day, the Poker Run and Car Cruise registration will take place beginning at 12:00 noon in the Crushed Grapes parking lot.  Car Cruise registration only will take place at Lincoln Middle School beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The more cars the better, so get your classic cars, hot rods, street rods, muscle cars and custom cars out of the garage and prepare them for bragging rights!

We would like to welcome to the festival this year Joe Sonderman, long-time St. Louis historian and radio personality, who brings his new book Route 66 In St. Louis. This book has over 200 vintage photos, many never before published, and great information and history on "The Mother Road" in Metro East, St. Louis and Franklin Counties. Joe will sign copies of his books while at the festival!
