The Route 66 Festival’s popular Classic Car events will return once again this year to include the Poker Run, Car Cruise and Car Show.
The Poker Run is a fun and exciting event that runs from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14th. Participants will travel to five different locations including:
Crushed Grapes LTD in Edwardsville (cards available 12:00-1:00 PM)
Chain of Rocks Bridge in Madison, IL (cards available 12:30-2:00 PM)
Krieger’s Pub & Grill in Edwardsville (cards available 1:00-3:30 PM)
Scotty’s Route 66 Bar & Grill in Hamel (cards available 1:30-4:30 PM)
Henry's Rabbit Ranch in Staunton, IL (cards available 2:00-5:00 PM)
At each location the registered participant will draw from a deck of cards to reveal their poker hand! Each poker hand is recorded on designated poker run card. Participants may purchase an unlimited amount of poker hands.
Each location will only provide the playing card draw for a set period of time. The best poker hand wins at the end of the run. Each of the locations will host their own party for participants. Poker Run prizes will be awarded at the festival after Fanfare plays and before Facts O’Life begins on the Entertainment Stage which is approximately 8:30 p.m.
On event day, the Poker Run and Car Cruise registration will take place beginning at 12:00 noon in the Crushed Grapes parking lot.
The more cars the better, so get your classic cars, hot rods, street rods, muscle cars and custom cars out of the garage and prepare them for bragging rights!
